Olympio's father was Cap. de Fragata Eneas Oscar de Faria Ramos and his mother was Leopoldina Cesar de Faria Ramos.  His paternal grandparents were Major Antonio Nunes Ramos and Praxedes Nunezia de Faria Ramos; his maternal grandparents were Antonio Augusto Cesar and Eugênia da Cunha Cesar.  He had a brother and two sisters, named Eneas, Eugênia  and Adalgisa.  He died on February 20th, 1945.
