Blanca was born on February 19th, 1930.  Blanca's father was Domingo Riga and her mother was Raymunda Lopez Caparroz.  Her maternal grandparents were Antonio Lopez and Juana Caparroz.  She is the second of eleven children.  She had four brothers and six sisters, named Domingo, Angel, Eduardo, Jose, Rosa, Clara, Clara, Dora, Maria and Susana.
