Marcelino was born on September 24th, 1917.  Marcelino's father was Epifanio María Cupani and his mother was Antonia Donato.  His paternal grandparents were Giuseppe Cupani and Carmela Di Franco; his maternal grandparents were Antonio Donato and Miguelina Formentini.  He was the second of six children.  He had three brothers and two sisters, named Jose, Sebastian, Felipe, Miguelina and Carmen.  He died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 80 on August 15th, 1998.
