Graciela was born on January 27th, 1949.  Graciela's father was Marcelino Antonio Cupani and her mother is Rosa Haydeé Riga.  Her paternal grandparents were Epifanio María Cupani and Antonia Donato; her maternal grandparents were Domingo Riga and Raymunda Lopez Caparroz.  She is the third of four children.  She has a brother and two sisters, named Mario, Marta and Silvia.
