Cecilia's father is Osvaldo Bontempo and her mother is Maria Elena Riga.  Her maternal grandparents were Domingo Riga and Raymunda Lopez Caparroz.  She is the fourth of seven children.  She has four brothers and two sisters, named Lucas, Mateo, Pablo, Marcos, Clara and Veronica.
