Daisy was born in 1879.  Daisy's father was Samuel Draper and her mother was Emma Glass Turner.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Draper and Maria Asher.  She is the third of six children.  She has three brothers and two sisters, named Ernest, Alan, James, Mary-Anne and Sarah.
