Mary-Anne's father was Samuel Draper and her mother was Emma Glass Turner.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Draper and Maria Asher.  She is the fourth of six children.  She has three brothers and two sisters, named Ernest, Alan, James, Daisy and Sarah.
