William was born on November 19th, 1803.  William's father was John ORSON and his mother was Rebekah RASIN.  His paternal grandparents were John ORSON and Ann DIXON.  He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Francis, James and Mary.  He was the second oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 42 in 1845.
