Francis was born in 1846.  Francis' father was Francis HENSON and his mother was Maria BEAVER.  His paternal grandparents were Daniel HENSON and Elizabeth CHAPMAN; his maternal grandparents were Thomas BEAVER and Sarah COLLINGBOURN.  He had a brother and four sisters, named George , Sarah, Emma, Eliza and Elizabeth.  He was the third oldest of the six children.
