Emma was born in 1847.  Emma's father was Francis HENSON and her mother was Maria BEAVER.  Her paternal grandparents were Daniel HENSON and Elizabeth CHAPMAN; her maternal grandparents were Thomas BEAVER and Sarah COLLINGBOURN.  She had two brothers and three sisters, named George , Francis, Sarah, Eliza and Elizabeth.  She was the fourth oldest of the six children.
