Doris was born in 1904.  Doris' father was Christopher Charles HENSON and her mother was Alice GIBBS.  Her paternal grandparents were George  Edmund Beaver HENSON and Margaret Catherine DALTON; her maternal grandparents were Edward GIBBS and Susan TIMMS.  She had three brothers and two sisters, named Francis, Christopher, John, Sarah and Florence.  She was the youngest of the six children.
