Christopher was born in 1840.  Christopher's father was Robert DALTON and his mother was Rachel Ann GUY.  His paternal grandparents were Robert DALTON and Mary JACKSON; his maternal grandparents were William GUY and Mary.  He had four brothers and six sisters, named Robert, Richard, John, Guy, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth, Louisa, Emma and Mary.
