Ann was born in 1782.  Ann's father was Robert DALTON and her mother was Elizabeth KELLY.  Her paternal grandparents were William (Guilielmus) DALTON and Katherine BURNISTON.  She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, William, Robert, Robert, Elizabeth, Margaret and Mary.  She was the seventh oldest of the eight children.
