John George Ponter

John was born in September 1893. John's father was John Richard Ponter and his mother was Elizabeth Sarah Ponter (Clements). His paternal grandparents were Thomas Ponter and Harriet Ponter (Mann); his maternal grandparents were Henry William Clements and Matilda Elizabeth Clements (Barqinall). He had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Thomas , Emma and Eleanor.
