Henry was born on October 1st, 1902. Henry's father was Henry Thomas Ponter and his mother was Maria Ponter (Driscoll). His paternal grandparents were John Richard Ponter and Elizabeth Sarah Ponter (Clements). He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, George, Billy, Rose, Nelly, Alice and Florrie. He died at the age of 59 on September 14th, 1962.
