Mario de Sá was born on 14-Feb-1919 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Mario de Sá's father was Tito Ribeiro Coelho and his mother was Elcira Cornetet de Sá. His maternal grandparents were Ismael de Sá Araújo and Rita Cornetet. He was the tenth of eleven children. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Floriano Peixoto, Tito, Francisco de Sá, Napoleão de Sá, Bayard Gaucho de Sá, Cecy de Sá, Aracy de Sá, Jandira de Sá, Nair de Sá and Maria Elcira de Sá. He died, at the age of 27, on 2-Jun-1946 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil.
