Dejalva Athaydes

Dejalva was born on 4-Oct-1915 in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Dejalva's father was João Athaydes and her mother was Leontina Rosteguy Teixeira. Her paternal grandparents were Manuel Athaydes , Artista and Maria Ritta da Conceição; her maternal grandparents were Francisco Manuel Teixeira and Maria Joaquina Rosteguy. She was the third of six children. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Luiz, Manuel, José Teixeira, Maria Joaquina and Yolanda. She had two half-brothers named Manuel and João. She died, at the age of 89, on 6-May-2005 in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil.
