Elizabeth Emily was born about 1878 in Axmouth, Devon, England.  Elizabeth Emily's father is William Newton and her mother is Emily.  Her paternal grandfather is Job Newton.  She has a brother and two sisters, named William H, Mary Ann and Eliza J.  She is the second oldest of the four children.
