William was born on April 10th, 1895 in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales.1   William's father is John H Burston and his mother is Hannah Morris.  His paternal grandparents are <Unknown> and Ann; his maternal grandfather was David Morris and his maternal grandmother is Matilda Bryant.  He had two brothers and a sister, named Ernest, Percival and Beatrice.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 89 on October 5th, 1984.
