Percival was born in 1898 in Brecon, Breconshire.1   Percival's father is John H Burston and his mother is Hannah Morris.  His paternal grandparents are <Unknown> and Ann; his maternal grandfather was David Morris and his maternal grandmother is Matilda Bryant.  He had two brothers and a sister, named Ernest, William and Beatrice.  He is the third oldest of the four children.
