Lena, known as Helena, was born in 1901.  Helena's father was Edward Jackson and her mother was Sarah Jane Wilson.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Jackson and Ann Sanderson; her maternal grandparents were George Wilson and Elizabeth Jane Wilson. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Harry, George, Ted, Elizabeth, Alice and May.  She was the sixth oldest of the seven children.  She died due to a medical problem, Influenza, at the age of 9 in 1910.
