Ernst was born on August 21st, 1892.  Ernst's father was Sigmund Schwartzenberger and his mother was Fanny Gundelfinger.  His maternal grandparents were Salomon Elias Gundelfinger and Babette Holzinger.  He had three brothers and a sister, named Justus, Max Michel, Siegfried and Ida.  He was the youngest of the five children.  He died  due to At War at the age of 22 on August 25th, 1914.
