  From 1190 his occupation was High Sheriff of Berkshire.  He retired in 1224.
  From 1187 to 1194 his occupation was High Sheriff of Oxfordshire.
  From 1201 to 1204 his occupation was High Sheriff of Conwall.
  In 1191 his occupation was High Sheriff of Hampshire.
  From 1194 to 1199 his occupation was High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and the Royal Forests.
  From 1207 to 1209 his occupation was High Sheriff of Somerset.
  His occupation was High Sheriff of Dorset.
  From 1209 to 1210 his occupation was High Sheriff of Sussex.
  His occupation was High Sheriff of Wiltshire.
  From 1224 his occupation was Cistercian Monk.  He died in 1226 while still employed there.
