Kunigunde was born on July 22nd, 1109.  Kunigunde's father was Hesso von Venis and her mother was Marie Bruce.  Her paternal grandparents were Ulrich von Venis and Douce von Chalns.  She had two brothers and two sisters, named Guy, Leopold, Adelheid and Gisela.  She was the third oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 26 on February 3rd, 1136.
