Osterhild was born on February 12th, 1116.  Osterhild's father was Friedrich de Lorraine and her mother was Hildegard of Bar.  Her maternal grandparents were Eberhard of Bar and Brunhilde von Venis.  She had a sister named Helene.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died at the age of 1 on March 20th, 1117.
