Vratislav was born on December 3rd, 1104.  Vratislav's father was Zikmund Premyslid and his mother was Eszter Guthkeled.  His paternal grandparents were Konrad Premyslid and Wirpirk of Moravia.  He had three sisters named Svatava, Barbora and Gertruda.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Borivoj, Lampert, Petr and Csilla.  He died at the age of 64 on November 29th, 1169.
