Svatava was born on February 14th, 1078.  Svatava's father was Oldrich Premyslid and her mother was Andela.  Her paternal grandparents were Konrad Premyslid and Wirpirk of Moravia.  She had a brother and two sisters, named Karol, Jitka and Blazena.  She was the oldest of the four children.  She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Vratislav, Mrton, Jaromir, Barbora and Guta.  She died at the age of 55 on April 5th, 1133.
