Sobeslav was born on February 28th, 1073.  Sobeslav's father was Svatobor Premyslid and his mother was Mlada.  His paternal grandparents were Spytihnev Premyslid and Ida von Wettin.  He had three brothers named Vojtek, Rostislav and Hanus.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He had a half-brother named Vilem.  He died at 2 months old on May 11th, 1073.
