Rostislav was born on December 28th, 1097.  Rostislav's father was Borivoj Premyslid and his mother was Gertruda.  His paternal grandparents were Vratislav Premyslid and Swietoslawa Piast.  He had a brother and a sister, named Vratislav and Markta.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died at the age of 7 on October 26th, 1105.
