Mrton was born on August 8th, 1119.  Mrton's father was Oldrich Premyslid and his mother was Jlia Hdervri.  His paternal grandparents were Konrad Premyslid and Wirpirk of Moravia.  He had two brothers and two sisters, named Vratislav, Jaromir, Barbora and Guta.  He was the fourth oldest of the five children.  He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Karol, Svatava, Jitka and Blazena.  He died at the age of 19 on March 6th, 1139.
