Jodokus was born on October 3rd, 1068.  Jodokus' father was Vratislav Premyslid and his mother was Swietoslawa Piast.  His paternal grandparents were Bretislav Premyslid and Judith von Schweinfurt.  He had three brothers named Borivoj, Vladislav and Bavor.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Bretislav, Boleslav, Judita, Ludmila and Domaslava.  He died at the age of 17 on July 25th, 1086.
