Boleslav was born on January 14th, 1061.  Boleslav's father was Vratislav Premyslid and his mother was Adleta rpd.  His paternal grandparents were Bretislav Premyslid and Judith von Schweinfurt.  He had a brother and two sisters, named Bretislav, Judita and Ludmila.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Borivoj, Vladislav, Bavor, Jodokus and Domaslava.  He died at the age of 19 on April 21st, 1080.
