Kojata was born on August 17th, 1149.  Kojata's father was Detrich Halicz and his mother was Skolasztika Szentgyrgyi.  His paternal grandparents were Vanek Halicz and Judita Luxembourg; his maternal grandparents were Smuel Szentgyrgyi and Mlada Premyslid.  He had two brothers and a sister, named Kazimierz, Rostislav and Mila.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Otakar, Spytihnev, Vratislav, Lzr, Ondrej, Ales, Wojslawa, Joln, Jitka and Jana.  He died at the age of 2 on November 29th, 1151.
